Absolutely photo shop for now! We are looking at getting a real plate made for the cruise, if Donny doesn't mind. The car isn't here, but we are still having fun with the pictures of it.
We have had 80-90 degree days so no snow thankfully. We are looking forward to riding with the top down.
Cheers!

I have the large exhaust pipes and the canister at the bottom was barley touching pipe which was creating a way of transferring heat from the exhaust to the oil. Me no like so I got one of those after market adapter to where I could use a throw away oil filter. I got the shortest in length filter I could find to stay clear of exhaust pipe. Now me like.

I'm going to go with no on saving the block
You know if you're going to knock the flapper out you really should pin this so the shaft doesn't fall out

Not seeing the heads it looks like a valve failed which cause all this. Now if that is true. Who's at fault , the owner, mechanic or God. If I have a engine rebuilt and I tell the mechanic to use existing valves if they appear OK, whose fault is it if the engine failed because of weak valve.

Underside of a piston. What a boat anchor the block has turned in to. Dennis
