Default lenghth bolts for spare tire tub

Just like the title says. I am using a S10 spare, I want it to close up nice and snug, what length bolt front and rear. Car is 64 with steele wheels originally.
Thanks, there are dozens of threads about what tire to use but nothing I could find about bolt length.

9 1/4" should work on the front. Not sure about the back one. Does anyone offer this tire and rim combination new? I'm getting tired of looking for a used one and am willing to fork over a few more bucks for a similar sized spare that will fit my 66......

EDIT: IMO I would think the 9 1/4" would work best based on the short profile of the S-10 tire. I would call CC on Monday to confirm though..

Default Make sure the bolts aren't bent.

I found a vintage 7.75-15 tire with no DOT markings that was in very good shape that I decided to use as a spare. To my amazement, it wouldn't fit in the tub. After I got under the car and looked at things, it was apparent that the long bolts had been bent (it probably was Bubba). I took them out, straightened them, and after I re-installed them, everything fit perfectly.

You are aware, aren't you that there were different lengths used in C2's (Red-Line tires for example).

The Paragon catalog shows three different length spare tire carrier bolts. They are about $50-60 each.
