Default 1967 Shop find :)

I just picked up this 67 today in a trade deal. I got it from my friend who had purchased it from the original owner back in 98, but had never titled it. When he got the car the clutch was stuck to the flywheel so he pulled the motor/trans and had planned on hot rodding it. I feel as if I saved it! Here are a few pics from today before and after a quick bath

- one owner, not been on the road since 1974, 30K miles, wearing most of it's original paint.
-327/350HP
- 4 speed
- leather
- telescopic wheel
- has I believe 2 of the original tires on it
- have tank sticker , original bill of sale and original title

That's awesome...congrats!!!

What are your plans? I take when he pulled the motor and trans, they were the original and they came with it?

Going to frame off resto back to factory specs/condition?

Yes, I plan on just doing the fuel system, suspension and brakes. The original motor and trans came with the car and he also gave me a fresh 68 327 that I will be running for now. I like it the way it is, unmolested.

Nice. Love the dust covered then washed effect. Takes me back to when I found my car. I think its cool that you are planning to made it road worthy and drive it.

That's a well known error that you see a lot on that time frame tank stickers. Remember they were done by a person
