Sunny and 73 here now. I just got back from Steak N Shake in the Grand Sport and getting ready to go out again. We have good weather until Friday when it might rain.

Supposed to see high 30's-40 today - that will be the first day in nine weeks that it's been above freezing.

It was nice here, what I call a two shirt day. Mid sixties tomorrow so I plan to get one of the vettes out. I'll also get the boat out for a ride around the river. Things are looking up.

Rich, when I sell this house I may be looking for a winter home in warm climates. Just not ready yet. From what I have seen of Fl. there are too many people.

Mark:

Don't forget the horrible drivers here in South Florida. But the move was great for me and my bride. Although no longer the biggest baseball fan I can walk 30 minutes to Tradition field (Mets Sping training). 30 minutes to the oceanfont (same as driving to Sandbridge). No pythons (not in the everglades), local Total Wine store sells wine, beer AND spirits (one stop shopping), no state income tax (nice raise on the retirement), much more house for the dollar and car insurance actually CHEAPER than VA. I will deal with it. Hope all is well in VA Beach.

Being a Ca. native I b!tch about a lot about this state. Our political policies, free rides, EPA, crappy gas/roads, ad infinitum.
However, I must admit the weather has NEVER been one of them. 75° today and 77° tomorrow.

Unfortunately you are experiencing a (record?) drought.

Its actually been nice in my part of Germany for the last few weeks...

Cold in the morning, but warms up and sunny during the day.

I "could" drive my vette... but the back end is out of it... sighhh....

Well it's supposed to be 40s and 50s all week. Maybe this time the forecast is right and we'll get rid of some of this mess. As far as the roads go we'll need some rain to wash the salt away but that's not going to do anything to fix the potholes that are the size of creators.

I hope so. I need to get my '65 out of hibernation so I can drive it on the 23rd (50 years since assembly) to surprise my daughter by picking her up from school in it.

Don't know if this Calif. drought is a record or not, but it sure is dry and warm this winter. By summer, my water bill will likely go through the roof.
