61 and 66 package deal.......
A guy I know would like to sell both of these cars together and is wondering about a price. I know they are in Florida and are detailed, ready to roll. Here's what I know......
66
Driver quality
Non original motor 327
Vert
pretty much drive-it-anywhere condition
Paint is a good 10 footer
original small block hood included.
61
Same deal, NOM, good driver. detailed
included original wheels, caps, grille and painted headlight rings.
What kind of money should he be looking for, and no I don't have any other pics, and I can get info if necessary.
a few 61 shots.....
What do you think as a package deal? I was thinking around 80K???

'61 comes with original wheels, hubcaps, painted headlight bezels, and '61 grill.
'66 comes with original '66 small block hood, painted when the rest of the car was painted.

Let's keep this thread in General to determining a price, and when you do, then sell it in the Cars For Sale section.

See if this gives any more ideas as to value.......
61 motor is a '57 283. Single four barrel carb, and I do have the actual factual original 4 barrel carb with a full rebuild kit. It needs rebuilding. The carb on the car works great and is an aftermarket. The tranny is a 4 speed manual Warner Gear. No idea if it's original to the car. I can look for numbers tomorrow.
66 motor is a GM crate motor ZZ4, I was told. No idea how to pull numbers to verify. Tranny is a 1966 M21. Don't know if it is the original but it could be.
66 has vintage air that very likely was put on right after the car was built, possibly by the dealer that sold the car.

Might be tough package sell - the folks that a C2 might appeal to aren't necessarily C1 buyers and vice versa. There is a consignment shop down in Lakeland that will sell classic cars for you for a reasonable fee. A pal sold a '62 restomod recently through them and was pleased. I don't know the name of the outfit (Toms Silver 60 on here does) but maybe there is some place up there like that...

Prseasix - Because they can be big-ticket items if missing (especially for the solid axle Vette), it might help to add info about whether there are both tops with each Vette and condition of the tops.

Kerrmudgeon- I just gotta say, I love your avatars !
Back to the threads topic- just my 2 cents but I'd sell them separately. It very well could take longer to sell them as a package and they probably will bring less sold together.

1961 Corvette - What's it worth?
283 non original motor - runs very strong, no smoke (1957 block)
4 speed manual transmission works great.
Aftermarket 4bbl carb - but the car does come with what I believe is the original 4 bbl plus the correct rebuild kit. Needs rebuilding.
Honduras Maroon paint has several flaws, not very noticeable unless you're up close. Looks fantastic from ten feet away.
Chrome is in outstanding condition
The car does come with the complete correct front license plate assembly (not currently installed), which is in very good condition
Soft top only - has very small hole on the side but works and looks just fine.
Showing 91,000 miles and is believed to be actual but not guaranteed in any way.
Car currently has a 1960 grill, 1960 chrome headlight bezels and Cragar rims but will come with the 1961 grill and 1961 headlight bezels painted when the car was painted. The original 1961 wheels and hubcaps will also come with the car but extra shipping may apply for the wheels and caps. No extra charge if local pickup.
Starts right up. Drive it anywhere. Wonderbar radio plays well. All gauges and lights work.

1966 Corvette- What Is It Worth?
2004 GM ZZ4 high performance crate motor 350 with 350 HP - runs very strong
1966 M21 4 speed transmission with Hurst shifter
Paint is a 9 + out of 10 - really can't find any flaws. I looked hard.
Chrome is excellent - one small surface rust spot on one front bumper about 1/2 size of a US dime or less
Black soft top is in nearly new condition
Vintage AC blows cold - not factory original but probably put on immediately after the car was built, possibly by the dealer that sold it
Teak Steering wheel looks fantastic.
Original AM/FM radio plays great.
Car currently has a '67 Big Block stinger hood but the original small block hood, painted along with rest of car, comes with the car (extra shipping cost if I have to ship it).
No hard top.
... but it does come with the 66 sb hood that was painted when the car was last painted.

I told you I thought the yellow should bring about 40K all day long, and about 42K for the 61. There's a grand worth of extra parts with it as well to sell if not wanted.
Hang it there. any pics under the 61 hood? :

Le Mans Master
1966 - $35k.
1961 - $45k.
I think these prices are fair to both the buyer and seller. These would be my non-negotiable prices. Maybe a touch less for a pkg. deal.
Anyone have access to Keith Martins database?
I can also vouch for Clark. The cars have probably seen very little use during his ownership, but well kept up.
