restored Holley 2818?
I'm been debating whether or not to purchase a restored holley 2818 for my 64 L76 coupe. Currently I have a 2818-1 dated 66 on my car. I have been searching ebay and this seller graygracy seem to have some that would be within 6 months of my build date (May 6, 1964). Has anyone purchased a restored carb from this seller? I read some of his reviews including some of the negative one. While there are not too many negatives compared to the positives, wrong parts or lack of communications don't give me a very good feel especially for such an expensive carb I will be at Carlisle this weekend and will talk to people there. It looks like Crane Corvettes will be there and I will ask him about 2818 carbs. Don anyone have any other people or businesses to contact regarding restored Holley 2818s? Thanks

That's one of his EBay names. Do a search on them. They don't have a good record of keeping people happy. And chances are they do not even have that carb in there possession.

Jerry luck Motorsports 314 8951551..... Not necessarily will have core, but he will deliver a work of art that runs better than it looks and he stands behind his work.....ask me, after 10 years he still took care of me....a true gentleman in the corvette hobby.

Thanks for the replies, but I think you are mis-understanding my question. I am not looking to have my current Holley 2818-1 restored, I am looking to buy a date correct already restored Holley. I looked at Eric's website and it seems that he only restores carbs that people send him. I did not see anything on his website, that indicates he sells them. Is this the case for Jerry as well? Thanks.

I am having a 2818 restored for my 64 L76 right now. I am using All American since their engine for testing is running and others either didn't use an engine or it was down. But I say this because they and other rebuilders see a lot of carbs so I would give them a call to see what they might have or know of. All American says they sell carbs on their website. Good luck!
