Default 1967 427 Hood- Original or Reproduction?

Hi members. I have decided to paint my 1967 327/300hp convertible, and using a 327 hood which I bought this week. I currently have a 427 hood on the car, and would like to sell it.

Before I advertise it for sale, I would like to get help in determining if this is an Original 427 hood or a Reproduction hood.

I have posted many photos in my Photobucket account for you to see:

Attached here are a few photos as well.

Thank you for your help.

Steve

If it bolts up to your old SB hood prop & has bolt holes on the other side it is a repo. If there only bolt holes on the drivers side it's a good chance it's original. It looks original from what I see.

That is an original BB hood. I have a GM issued replacement, and it is different. Dennis

I concur with the opinions stated above. It looks like my original BB hood.

Thank you all for your help. Do any of you have an idea of what it is worth? I have seen some advertised from $1200 to 2000 for real hoods, but do not know what they are really selling for. I think mine is in pretty good shape, and have already purchased a small block hood for my 67.

Thanks again,

Steve

I'd be interested in the 1967 hood if you got a price and where are you located? Send info to pgsmith@stny.rr.com
