Need a quick value estimate! 1967 Coupe AIR L71
Hello everybody,
I have an opportunity to buy a fully restored 67 L71 A.I.R. PB, PS, PW, coupe, marina blue/black stinger, black interior. Car was fully restored back in 2003 by a well known restoration shop and was auctioned in 2004 for a certain amount of dollars. Only 500miles since the restoration. My friend was the one who bought the car back in 2004 and it came with good documentations and the restoration was perfect. Now my friend is trying to sell few Corvettes from his collection and I have my eye on the L71.
What is the current value price in todays market and how desirable are these cars? Anybody looking for one?
TIA
Jay

Hi Groovejay,
Made some assumptions...that it has side exhaust and has a leather interior AND it's in EXCELLENT condition with average miles...I used the corvetteDNA app which is free and I came up with a $115,000.00 value. This ASSUMES this car comes with documentation/lineage/proof it's not a made car.
Obviously this is a swag/guide but this will be a good starting point. Curious what others here will chime in and say.

Many variables that significantly impact value on a L-71. I would say primary considerations are:
1) Documentation--does it have (authentic) documents confirming it is a L-71
2) VIN/trim tags--have they been authenticated?
3) Born-with engine--is it a restamp (the vast majority are) or authenticated as a the factory-installed engine?
4) Body condition--has it been wrecked/flared or otherwise altered and repaired in a detectable way?

Does it come with any awards?
