Michelin Presents Wallpaper Wednesday: Best Resto Mod Ever
My jaw has fallen off. This has to be the best Corvette resto mod ever, right? Please argue with me on this one because I would love to see you come up with something better, but I think that's physically and artistically impossible. If you are able to show me something better, cooler and more glorious than this 1962 Chevrolet Corvette C1RS, my eyes will shoot out of their sockets clear across the United States.

Reminds me of this car, which didn't get above $39K at auction:

Except that car is better looking and still looks like a Vette. Other than those damn black wheels.

C2 of the Year Finalist - Modified 2020
It shows talent, craftsmanship, but not any taste of my liking. Dennis

Desireability is subject to personal opinion. That is not desireable to me but that doesn't make it bad. I see some late 60's early 70's customization in that car. I wish they had left it in that time period.

Goofy looking...
They ruined a classic. I think it's downright ugly.

Evidence that taste is subjective.
Talent and execution - no doubt stunning.
Style? Not so much.

Can't see the front end of that car, but the *** end looks horrible....too busy for me.

That's the thing with extreme restomods....your concept may not appeal to many other enthusiasts.

I would be more than happy to take it off the owner's hands for 50.
Someone with a lot of latent crafted that car. I can appreciate it more so than a number of overpriced Porsches or Ferraris.

The only person that has to be thrilled with it is the one paying for it.
On the other hand itt doesn't have to appeal to one's taste to appreciate the craftsmanship and execution.

I like everything except the interior and the exterior (the sides, front, rear, and top view).
I think it looks like a Corvette for people who like the idea of a Corvette but don't really like the look of an actual Corvette. (Just my opinion, of course.)

Which is why there is chocolate and vanilla (and thousands of other flavors too) so that there is something for everybody.
This, however, is not my taste at all...
