Default Posi Rebuild Question

Recently had the posi rebuilt with new ring & pinion gears and complete
rebuild kit on my 62 by an individual who said he had much experience on posi rear ends.
I now find that from the get go, I hear and feel a chatter coming from
the rear end as I begin to turn either left or right from a dead stop. Once
moving in a straight line, no more chatter.
Anyone have some thoughts on what the problem is?
Thanks in advance!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, did you put some posi additive in it before adding the oil?
What you describe is VERY typical of a posi chattering because it needs to have a bottle of GM posi additive put in it.
Now, if you did include a bottle of posi additive, then add one more bottle, because sometimes it takes 2 bottles. But, with all that said, posi chatter is somewhat common so don't get terribly upset about it.

Yes, one bottle of posi additive was put in with the oil. Will add one more
as you suggest and see if that solves the problem. Never had chatter with the previous setup.
Thanks!

Maybe do some figure 8's to help it along.

Many Thanks to DZAUTO, narlee and Gary's '66 for their advice on
the posi chatter. I added a 2nd bottle of the additive, did the figure 8's and multiple full circles in both directions and the problem is solved.
