Default Crane corvette supply

I would like the members opinion on Cranes corvette supply out of San Diego, Calf. Has anyone experience any positive or negative dealings with this company or are there better vendors out there. I'm thinking on ordering something from them but would appreciate the members input.
All responses will be wecome. Thank you

David Crane does have some parts that are hard to find. As with anyone, be sure that you know what you are buying. I have purchased a number of parts from him with excellent success.

the consensus is that David is a bit 'difficult' to deal with and probably more expensive than others, but if you need what he's got, and you figure it's reasonable, then go for it...

25 years ago I bought many items from David and it was...... okay. Years passed. Then 3+ years ago I did some large $ business with him. Very large $. Much time on the phone planning, ordering, negotiating, and coordinating major items and many engine parts for a major restoration I was doing on a '67 L71.

He did an outstanding job delivering his products ahead of schedule. We had a few issues and he worked with me to resolve them in a professional, courteous and businesslike manner.

I met him for the first time in Carlisle last year. We had a good long conversation. but be aware..... David likes to use most of the time in a conversation, but all you have to do sometimes is say......."David, Shut Up a Minute so I can Say Something"....He usually laughs and lets you talk for a while.

I like working with him. He makes some unique items and makes them very well. I recently bought one of his FI Air Cleaners. Very nice.

I've bought from him on eBay and was very pleased with what I received. No issues at all.

I also have bought some high$$ stuff from him without issue over the past 20 years, see him almost every year at Carlisle, and for the most part he remembers me before I walk up and speak to him.

I've purchased items from Cranes several times in the past including earlier this year. Always shipped quickly, super packaging, no hassles. Highly recommend them if they have something you need.
