Corvette Show 'n Go Saturday 7/26
Anybody going to this at Raceway Park in Englishtown? I haven't been to this since Corvette Express stopped running it and the track took over. This used to be a show/1/4 mile drags/autocross where you could do all three if you wanted to. Is it any good..................................or should I go to the Digs that evening/night instead?
The "Digs" is a 1/4 mile event, usually not very crowded so you can make almost unlimited runs if you want to.

I didn't even know they were still having it.
I see from the flyer that they have turned it into GM show now, instead of just Corvettes. This is likely because the number of Corvettes attending has decreased dramatically.
I haven't been since 2011 (the last year Corvette Express ran it), but a couple guys I know were there last year. If I remember right, I was told there were maybe 100 cars in the show, and the racers had to wait quite a bit between rounds, because the track was running other events too?
If you go, take some pictures, and tell us how it turned out. I'd be curious to hear. I'm actually going to be about 5 minutes from the track. I have a pre-purchase inspection to do of a Corvette for sale in the area, but I don't think I'll have time to stop.
A quick internet search, turned up this link, to the show flyer.

I went last year and was greeted by autocross is canceled. The turnout was very light. I don't think there were 50 Corvettes there. Based on last year there's plenty of room for improvement. Unfortunately I doubt it will happen.
