I have nine of them. Could we be friends if I gave you one?

2005 Audi A6 quattro with 3.2L direct-injected V6. Great long-distance driver. If I keep it at 60 MPH or so (which I don't), I can get 31 mpg on a long highway run.

Retired now but then work was only 3/4 mile away. Don't need super fuel economy nor foreign, so I drive a 2014 Impala and the wife has a 2014 Malibu. Nice weather she drives her 99 Mustang GT 5 speed and I drive the 67 Vette.

Nice Healey, spruce green over OLE?. BTW I have a vacation home by Bromley and am there for the weekend. If you are near by maybe we can share a beer. Oh, the Ferrari is a 365 GTC4 and the XKE is an OTS. The cougar was a surprise present to my wife who wanted to buy one as her first car but had to get a more practical Comet.

We have a few vehicles that we consider daily drivers, but my Raptor is one of my favorites...Really fun truck!

When the weather is pretty (and not snowing), maybe 5 months out of the year, the Harley gets to,see some use...

My 06 Miata gets the most use, followed by my 07 C6 coupe for longer trips, then my 67 Vette convertible for overall fun and autocrossing. Amazingly, the Miata has exactly the same performance as a stock 300hp 67 Vette.

PM sent.

My Healey is Pacific Green (which is actually a dark turquoise) over Old English White coves. Interior is oyster with BRG piping and carpets. Of all my cars it is my absolute favorite.

I have an 08 Avalanche. This is the best daily driver I have ever owned. I also have an 07 Z06. The Z06 is great for trips with the corvette club and to fill my need for speed. I also have two boats, a Blackfin Sportman 27 with twin Yanmars and 23 Jones Brothers center console. I'll probably be selling the Blackfin as I don't run it offshore any more. My wife drives Lexus LS400, a great car.

Great color combination and it's got to be a blast to drive on Vt. roads. There is something very special in the feel of driving a Healey that is impossible to describe.

My only complaint about Vermont roads is that some of them are gravel and a lot of the paved roads have cracks and bumps due to the harsh winters, but summer and fall there have ideal convertible weather and the roads have lots of curves and elevation changes so it is waaaaay nicer than flat, straight, dull Florida roads.

While I love my '67 Corvette, it doesn't hold a candle to my Healey in terms of the way it just feels right and sounds right. I wish my wife were as supportive of this hobby and passion as yours is, Joe, because I'd love to get another Healey so I wouldn't have to ship mine back and forth.

The roads this year do seem somewhat worse than normal. Maybe Sen.Leahy is loosing his touch of squeezing money from Congress for Vt, If you do get to buy another Healey for up here it would have to be a 100. I own a '53 and '56 and as much as I love my BJ8 the 100s are the most fun to drive. They are primitive in every sense of the word and offer a true "driving experience". Once I finally finish the garage here the '53 is coming up to stay. The '56 is a factory 100M that is sitting home, gutted and painted and awaiting my reassembly which is the reverse of disassembly. I've owned the '53 about 20 yrs. the '56 about 12 yrs. and the '67 33 years.
My wife for sure is a special lady and I will pass on your kind words because I'm sure I don't tell her enough.
