tach drive 61

A step forward today .I have contacted shop that restored my 61 25 years ago.shop owner remembered car and is sending me album of the body restoration.
I have traced car back to owner # two. 1980 to present I have a good solid record put together.the photos will be good addition.yesterday the 61 took a trophy .still shows well.it's competition was mint 61 fuelie,62 that was just restored.
The restorer was happy too hear cars still showing well.

You're lucky the body shop is still around after that much time. Neat that they still have pics of the restoration. I bought my 61 in 2008 and the family had owned it since the mid 70's but the trail goes cold before that unfortunately with only a reference to maybe the previous owner living near Texas City or Galveston. Post up the pics when they send them to you.
