Default cove color

Any opinions on white coves for my car? The yellow is darker than the factory yellow so I'm not sure how white coves would look. Maybe someone can do a quick photo shop.

Don't have Photoshop, and this is very crude, but maybe gives you an idea?

I think white coves and white wall tires would look clean and sharp.

White coves and whitewalls. Very classy.

Tried to make whitewalls, but can't make it work.

It's crying out for white coves.

What color is the ragtop?

A white hardtop might also look good.

nice stance !

Another question, if I went with this look, will only a white top look good?

In my opinion, a white top would be ideal. However, if your top is black, I think the black top will look better with white coves and whitewalls than it looks on your car now.

Just my opinion.

My '60 is a lighter Panama Yellow, but this might give you another perspective with (pearl) white coves and whitewalls.

IMO, the yellow with white coves and whitewalls go together extremely well. The car gets raves every time it is out.

Based on the pic done by 3rd Red 62, I think your car looks much better with the white coves and whitewalls.

I'm a big fan of the slightly off white that was used back then too.

With the blackwalls and solid body color - your car is drowning in yellow. White coves and wide whitewalls in the doctored-up pics above tell the whole story. The car will totally 'pop' with that combo...
