New member with 1954 Corvette-Un-restored, seeking information.
Hello all,
We own a 1954 Corvette. It's been in our family in covered storage for nearly 40 years. It's in un-restored condition.
We've decided that it's time to get it in the hands of people that will restore it to it's fullest potential.
We are seeking guidance on:
-Estimating it's value
-Finding prospective buyers
-Any other useful advice, leads, or thoughts pertaining to this topic.
Thank you all.

If it's a totally unrestored car, you may want to have it judged at an NCRS regional meet. May be a great candidate for Bowtie Award which is awarded for 85% originality in four areas (Interior,Exterior,Chassis,Mechanical).

Well, I don't know if this one would qualify or not. We have the original engine, but it's not in the car.

We were considering bringing the car to Bloomington Gold in Champaign IL which is coming up June 27-29 (To market for sale). I read that they have a category like the one you are talking about. But have you seen the pictures I posted of the car? It's missing paint, has a little bit of damage in the front corner, and the engine that is in the car is NOT the original Blue Flame engine. I guess I'll have to inquire with Bloomington Gold on the parameters, but I didn't want to mislead the forum or give the wrong impression. I'm going to be taking more thorough pictures very soon, and compiling a detailed list of all the components that come with the car.
