Default Replacing Turn Signal Switch on !966 Corvette with Telesopic

I need some advice on changing out the turn signal switch on my '66 with telescopic steering wheel. I bought a replacement switch from Ecklers (part#35279), but using the old cancel cam leaves the horn blowing all the time. I think I need to purchase a new cancel cam to supplement the new turn signal switch, but not sure. Can anyone help? Ecklers sells a cancel cam (part#49791), but do I need to then replace the upper bearing and spring as well?

Thanks,
