Default 1965 Gas Tank Interchangeable with 1969?

I have someone considering purchasing my old gas tank, but has a '69.

Anybody have any idea if they are interchangeable?

Thank you!

The 1969 Corvette still used a vented tank same as the mid years. Fill neck of tank very well may line up with the opening in the deck of the '69.

I'm far, far from being an expert in all of this, but the Paragon catalog not only shows different part numbers between the 65 and 69 tank, they also differentiate between a early 69 and a late 69 tank, so I'm not so sure.

Again, I'm no expert.

........ and for $195, why would the '69 owner even consider using a used tank?
