Default 65 dimmer switch

Hi I have an original dimmer that needs to be restored does anyone know who can do this thanks Ralph

I under stand trying to restore original parts But you can get replacements that work well for less then 20 bucks. A no judge will know.

I've never heard of anyone restoring a dimmer switch, but I guess I haven't heard of everything that's possible.

I agree and why would you want to spend hours on a project, that in the end, you can hardly see the dimmer switch? But to the OP, trying spraying WD40 on it, it might work again, it did for me.

I bought a new dimmer switch a few years ago and it worked well for, oh, about 1 time, and then it would just be either all or nothing.
Yeah, I'd try to fool around with it, or at least not toss it until you are satisfied with your new switch.
