Any historical value/ significance on first Ti Fi car off the line?
Hi, thanks for reading this thread.
I was wondering if there is any historical value/ significance on the first Transistor Ignition with Fuel Injection Corvette off the line in 1964? All mechanical is original down to the original brake pads, J65 sintered metallic. Don't have original shocks anymore, but it is F40 suspension. Been in the San Fernando California it's entire life.
Thanks for any info you could throw my way.

There's always historical value/significance to the "first" when you're talking about Corvettes. The question is, can you prove it with documentation?

Ti
Yours is the lowest serial number I have seen, but the first thing I would do is throw out a challenge to see if anyone can find a lower one.
Its not significant enough to fake, but it would be nice to know if any are out there.

Yes, all matching numbers, RX coded engine block and build date is Jan 6th on 1964. AIM report announced TI available 12-28-1963. The closest TI serial number I've found is 700 cars after mine was built.
Thanks
