But the flywheel/clutch will be the same for any car using the smaller 421 or 403 bell housing. The flywheel needs to be the smaller 153 teeth version (12 3/4in diameter) with a bolt pattern for a 10 1/2in clutch. The starter needs to be one with a straight across bolt pattern for attachment to the bottom of the block.

The basic clutch that so many here on the forum have used is the LUK 04-021 for your small block. Carolinaclutch.com has the best price as far as I know. Dennis

The 421 bell housing is correct for 63 ONLY. It is unique to 63 cars (both Vettes and passenger cars) because the hole for the transmission bearing retainer is smaller than ALL OTHER years.
