Default Midyear bumpers

I had a split window from 1982-1987. I bought a set of GM bumpers in 1984. They have been in the rafters of my pole barn for the past 25 years. The boxes have been chewed up by mice, but the bumpers have never been out of the box. Just wondering if anyone had any idea what they would be worth?

Depends. How many of those mice have been peeing on the bumpers and how damp was your barn?

They could be worth no more than core price and not even that if they are some of the last issue of the junk GM was selling in service in that time frame.

You will need to look at them the bumpers from GM in the 80's had very bad welds and finish. It took 5 sets from my dealer to get a good set for a driver.

I have all four bumpers. I opened them up today. The chrome looks perfect on all of them. No flaws that I can see. There is a cracked weld on the bottom of one of the bumpers. Obviously a factory flaw. Other than that, none of them have any pitting, scratches, etc. I took pictures and can send them if you want.

Thanks for your input.
