Some questions 64 Vette
I got my new Vette on the lift tonight to check it out. It is amazingly dry and solid underneath.
It has a 64 gauge cluster with a low horse tach but with an 80lb gauge. Is this correct?
I did find a few things that need some attention but nothing major.
What are these brackets on each side attached to the front floor pan?
What are these clips for?
Is this hole supposed to be there? The spring is for the jack hold down.
I appears to have a big block rear, can anyone decode this?

I consider the 1967 Rear Differential as
An upgrade!!! Keep it! It should increase the value of the car, if the world was perfect!

The riveted-on brackets on both sides of the front floor pan are for the inboard sheet metal splash shields; they attach to those brackets, and to the bottom of the frame rail in two places.

P.S. My '65 is "in the air" (up on the KwikLift) as we speak so if you need any shots from underneath let me know.

My '63 (#396) has the outers, but not the inners. I do have the gas pedal reinforcement where you would expect to see it on the drivers side, but no provision to attach anything to it. On my passenger side there is absolutely nothing riveted to the floor in the footwell.
Perhaps JohnZ may know when or if they appeared on the '63 at all. Paragon lists them only for the '64 - '67 Corvette.
Good luck... GUSTO

That is the information I was looking for.
I appreciate the offer of more pictures.
The car will be on the lift for a while. I am going to do a total brake overhaul, see my other post, and fix the other things.
Last night I found out there is a 67 BB 4:11 rear in the car. I have a 3:36 complete rear that I am going to install to make the car more drivable.
