Yeah - I had a Craig 4 track like that. Madris shirts, jeans, sharkskin (shimmery fabric) slacks and Keds sneakers are what I remember. Also, reel to reel recorders, poloroid and instamatic 26 cameras, paisly print fabrics, bellbottoms, and quarts of beer.

OMG English Leather. I forgot about that. I remember the commercials with the hot chick. "My man wears English Leather or nothing at all!"

Some followed the trends, wile others of us were the trend

The next year I grew a mustache (which I still have) and my hair started falling out (which I don't).

Haven't seen anyone mention the polyester "leisure suit" with contrasting stitching - remember those?

I do remember those. My first job out of college in 1970 was as a high school teacher. That's what I wore to work. My students thought it was cool. The faculty (average age 60) hated it.

'63-'64 time frame:
'pegged pants' (skin tight), Beatle boots, pomade, aqua velva.
Girls wore pedal pushers, aqua net hair spray.

A heck of a lot happened during that decade.
The 60's were special time, good and bad. .. Vietnam, assassinations, music, British invasion, LSD, Summer of Love, moon landing, Woodstock. .. Most important? .. Mmmm, perhaps muscle car era.

Turn on, tune in, drop out. . .

American Graffiti is a great movie and they nailed the dress part. After watching the movie several years ago, I ordered some Madras shirts which I wear to car shows with off white pants. In fact I got a new Madras shirt today from LL Bean. The best part about the early 70's was the mini skirts.

My casual dress in the '60's was very similar to yours except I didn't have hair hanging halfway down to my butt and I didn't have those bird like legs!

Cutoffs and short sleeve sweatshirts all summer long. Jeans in the winter and short sleeve sweatshirts in the winter.

The first day my MIL to be saw me (1966), I was in her garage tuning up the engine in her daughter's '65 GTO. I had on a pair of raggedy cutoffs just like what you have on, no socks, no shoes and no shirt. She pulled the daughter outside the garage and asked her where she "drug that thing in from"?

I did own a pair of Florsheim wing tips back then though for special occasions.
