Default '61 Heater Hose Routing

Can someone post a good picture of the of the heater hoses from the block and pump water at the front to under the generator? The hoses I cut off were very crimped likely because they were cut too short originally. If you happen to know the exact length to cut the long 5/8 and 3/4 hoses that would be great information as well (original 283 with 2/4 carbs - 270 HP).

Page 191 & 192 of your AIM show the hose routing in excruciating detail....to the level of clamp position and what goes behind where. If you just follow that routing from the engine rearward to the heater core nipples and cut the hose to that length it will be correct.

Your NCRS judging manual and AIM are your best references.

The AIM also answered my question about the hose nipple on the water pump. Turns out the other two '61 cars that I looked also had the wrong part - that is they were straight.

Got one ordered from the East Coast guys - should be here in a day or two.
