Default Photo of firewall

Doing some detailing under the hood of my '62, and found that the hole in the firewall for the tach cable is (way) oversized. I did a search looking for pictures of firewalls, but couldn't find what I was looking for.

Does anyone have a picture of their firewall showing the area where the cable comes through? I know I will be reworking mine, and would like to be correct in my repair.

Thank you for your help.

Mike

I don't have a picture hand but the original boot on the cable seemed to be fairly large maybe 1 1/2" plus in diameter.

Here a picture of my firewall on my 61 FI car.
I don't know if 62 is the same w/o FI.

Thanks, gentlemen. That will make it easier to repair as needed. (Actually, the hole on my firewall isn't as oversized as I thought, and shouldn't take too much to repair).

The non FI 62's have a round hole versus the elongated hole for the FI cars.
