Do you have any more info or photos of the progress on the build using that blue frame with the modern Corvette drivetrain (torque tube)?
Thanks for posting...

You may be referring to my 58 restomod.
It was completed a few years ago.

I see RK Motors already has the supercharged midyear up for sale on ebay at about 80 grand above what they paid for it.

Anyone know why some have estimates and others don't in the Mecum discriptions?

Early high end consigners got into the catalog and had estimates published. Late entrants did not. I believe.

The Star cars Get a prof. write up and photos taken they will add an estimate if you wish . My Car was consigned as a star car but with it being a replica it gets treated as a second class citizen No write up or pics for me although i did pay the premium consignment fee . Star cars are to be kept clean at all times by the staff , mine got cleaned once . over all I had no fun and just wasted a lot of money for a poor result .

The icing on the cake was A friend of mine who is Danas drinking buddy stated Dana told him " I Have no Idea how THAT car got into saturdays show " ie my Grand Sport . Nice huh?
Mine was a star also but was too late for the catalog, write-up or indoor parking.

The consensus from the Mecum results based on the many comments and the reality of the results:
1. Quality builds are in demand but the reserves may have been too high this time around considering that;
2. The stock market was in a nose dive during this period of time
3. The BJ auction the week or so prior didn't help

Let's see what happens at BJ Palm Beach in April.
