Default Need Some Help w/65 Small Block AC Heater Hose Routing

I took the heater hoses off during a engine compartment restoration and replaced them with correct hoses and clamps. But the way they were routed when I took them off may have not been right. I don't have an AIM and what diagrams I have are not that great. I know with all the great knowledge out there on this site, any number of people can probably tell me off the top of their head. Any help is appreciated!

Well, actually I need to confirm where the hose from the upper firewall connection goes I.e. water pump or intake manifold and if the lower firewall hose connection then goes to the opposite.

Bracket (#13 in illustration) is critical to keeping hoses out of belts!

So with AC & SBC

Top hose at the firewall has a 3" piece that goes to the Suction Throttle Valve then on to the water pump connecting into a nipple on the side of the water pump (300HP) or a elbow at the top of the water pump (350HP). This is the larger diameter hose.

Lower hose at the firewall should go directly too the intake manifold nipple. Its the smaller diameter hose.

Anyway this is how my 1966 300HP with AC is setup, & I believe is correct.
Nope. Follow the illustration in the post above; the STV isn't involved, nor is the fitting on top of the 350hp (326) water pump - the hose from the top core fitting (and expansion tank tee) connects to a fitting in the SIDE of the water pump on both 300 and 350hp engines.

I really screwed that up!

Thanks JohnZ for clearing up my miscommunication...I had to look again but the hose does go to a water shut off valve assembly #18, not the TSF.

My car is a 300hp & thought the 350hp had a different connection on the water pump but must not.

Hopefully nobody got hurt using my destructions.....
