I watched on Thur. I'm watching now. Is it me or is this now worse than ever being on FOX Business? Commercial after commercial, interview after interview, social garage, crap after crap. So what might be in store for Sat? Carnival, circus, side show. Dennis

Our cable company requires you to buy a special package to get Fox Business channel ( Sports and Information package) so I guess the last BJ auction that I saw WILL be the last............

Ive watched the whole thing. I just dont see anything different than when it was on Speed. April Rose, social media, lots of commercials. Whatever.

It was on Fox Sports 2 as many hours as Fox Business. Today Fox Sports 1. All the same.

I still think its worth it to see the cars. I like the cars.

I was watching hoping to see a specific car, they had a 10 minute commercial followed by a 10 minute spiel about a frikken merry go round, I missed about 5 auctions, I was gonna record it then changed my mind. Absolute crap!

BJ lost a great of it's appeal some time back. Too many 'back stores', 'selling cars for a cause', 'long commericals' and finally....'inaccurate accessment of cars on the block'. Oh wait......'no harm, no foul'!

Seemed to me that they actually showed more cars getting auctioned compared to prior years. I like watching Mecum better because they don't have all the side show crap, though.

BJ/FOX should lose the bimbo and the social garage dude up in the back who seems like he struggles to add anything to the conversatipon when it's his turn to speak. Regarding the bimbo, I could care less about her sitting in a toy corvette and I could care less about Gene Simmons and his manly looking blond wife racing in a drag race simulator.

How about that Minter '57 T-Bird selling for $300,000. Wow. Evidence once again that a few drinks and a bidders paddle are not your friends.

So for this auction, Fox will use 4 different channels. One is not HD. IMO, their coverage sucks. I have taped them so I can FF through the commercials. The first thing I noticed is that most of the cars do not get the hoods opened. It also looks like the value on the C2's has gone up, at least for auction purposes.

I think it will only get worse now that it's on tonight on regular Fox. So now everyone who has an old car parked out in the weeds rotting away will think it's worth HUGE money. I do watch it, but not to close. I get mad when they stop an auction and the guy lectures the crowd because the price is not high enough. Then they wheel little Billy out in his wheel chair and the bid goes up. Just when you think the hammer is gonna drop Sammy Hagar throws in a bottle of brew and Gene Simmons signs a guitar. It is kind of like a circus.

I like watching Mecum and that is on today also.

Mike Joy just provide color commentary and often his information is not correct
Steve M info is normally spot on - looks like he has cards on the cars specific to codes and options etc.....
It is changed way more commericals and way more glitz - less cars.....

The television coverage of Barrett Jackson is a joke. Watched the first day of the Mecum Auction in Kissimmee yesterday and it is far superior. They actually show the cars crossing the block in contrast to a bunch of lug heads riding a merry-go-round. And what is up with the chick with the tight jeans and the *****?

Csherman I agree with you on all above. Such a shame April and Justin Bell who should know cars are terrible and are getting much more time unrelated to cars while Steve is outstanding and gets very little time. He knows his stuff. Old Hot Rod mag guy. Has built many cars as well.

Many of the Motels here in Scottsdale (Like the Hampton where I am) don't get the channels on their cable feed especially at night. Lot's of guys liked to keep watching or watch the re-broadcasts when they're in the hotel. Lot's of grumbliing about that.

I'm watching Mecum right now on Esquire channel 235 on DTV.
Not sure if it is just me but the quality of the picture just sucks!!!

Pretty much the same telecast and crew as before with many commercials.

My only complaint is that it's spread over so many channells it's difficult to keep track of when it's on and on what station.

Oh I duno, I found it very informative to learn that a resto-mod is actually any car that looks totally stock on the outside, but has had a newer drivetrain installed.

Well...for the working man...weather buying or selling....Mecum is the way to go. They don't mess around....if buyer and seller are close...they make it happen at Mecum"s expense. Barret is strickly "Winter Entertainment" for me. Way out of my league in real life !!! Steve
