Nominate your C1 for Corvette of the Week!
Hi everyone!
I want to try something new and see what cars you want featured as Corvette of the Week. This Friday we will be featuring a C1 (I know it's shorter notice than I have been giving you past weeks) on CorvetteForum. Please be sure to follow these guidelines as best you can:
• The Corvette needs to belong to a forum member.
• Share the story behind the Corvette or link to the thread or threads which contain the story. This can include anything from how long you were chasing the car and the love you feel, to the mods you’ve made.
• And last, but not least, WE NEED PHOTOS! The more the merrier. And the more well done, the more likely you are to capture our hearts and attention. In the interest of space, it would be best to link me to the thread or threads which contain the photos you wish to share, but you can share them here as well. Videos are also welcome, but not necessary.
I can't wait to see your submissions.

jack,
I give it to you. At least you presented what appeared to be a true story, rather than a fairy tale....

You have to select "ARTICLES" up on the top left hand side of tool bar right under the Vette Cross Flags symbol. Then selecton section, "C2" last week and this week it will be "C1".
Might want to take a look at all the Articles. Some are interesting reads.

Thank you. I've actually been working on the Corvette of the Week for a few months, but I'm trying something new by inviting you all to nominate cars and to tell me more than I can find by digging through threads. Although, I do still dig through threads so we have more info to work with.

Cristina,
Here are two links for our '62. A car I have owned since November of 1970. We still keep this car in near perfect condition and is driven frequently during our driving season here in the Pacific Northwest.

I have a short story about the car and our early history. If you want to read it, would be happy to send it to you.
In two weeks, we will celebrate our 41 years of marriage.
Best,
DJ

Ironcross, that is a sweet 62, and you gotta love roosters. Whats the goggles for, your dog when he hangs his head out? I love the exhaust. Honest Charley used to sell those kits for 61/62. Why would chevy hide the exhaust on those two years on a corvette? Uncool.
