ORPHAN VIN-stamped parts and documents- list here

It would be nice to put these orphaned blocks on the C2 registry. Has anyone found a good way to do that? I know we won't know if it's a 437 or 467 but it may not matter if we get the rest correct....assuming the car isn't on the registry. If it is, I'm not sure we can edit or add to that. Maybe the registry host would find a fix or a separate page to hold these orphan pieces.....Just a thought.

If people associated with the registry want to take information posted here and post it there, they are welcome to do so.
I don’t think it would be a viable function for the site to take on input of this information added by various individuals over years, and transferring to another site.

I may have your 65 engine block.
I have been gathering parts for a 327 build and came upon a bare block for a 1965. Late 64 casting. I ? 4 casting date, 870 casting, stamped E or F 0909 HF. VIN 5101128.
From my research I believe it is a 1965 327/300hp manual trans for a Corvette.
PM me if interested.

Wow, that is so cool. I did a search, but only came up with a tri athlete.
Is there a link through the registry to reach him, it looks like a blue link?
If there is a way to contact him, or if you can contact him, please let me know, or tell him he can contact me through PM here.
Thanks for the information.

Yes, another member PM me about this. My only thought was to see if owner of original car would want it back. As it stands now the block is in for machine work and I will be building a short block or engine with it.
Sorry for any confusion this caused.

1965 Fuel Injection unit on ebay, listing 185518095325. Injector serial number is 2542. The partial VIN indicates this was on car number 3420. I looked in the C2 registry and neither coupe 194375S103420 or convert 194675S103420 are listed but it may still exist. I asked the seller for the VIN as I could not make it out in the photos. Seller states this is from VIN 3420 and it is double stamped.

62 T-10 trans #2103344
NOT MY AD, saw this T-10 trans ad on the HAMB forum. A forum for traditional hotrods:
Original 1962 Vet, never apart, in absolutely mint condition. This tranny has been under my bench since Richmond came out with their 5 spds. That is the reason the original owner pulled it. All synro teeth are sharp and not mashed. Photos tell the story. It is from Vet serial #2103344(early '62). I have no idea who owns it now. The price is firm at $1250. The only issue is that it shifts 'hard' in cold weather, either needs new/different fluid or blocker rings. I won't ship, but can bring to Hershey next month. Tom Kidd at 610-967-3637, talk when machine picks up, or I don't answer. Thank You!

1963 Muncie 4 speed VIN#117374
While getting ready to repair the trans leak on my '61 I discovered that the trans in it is not a '61 T-10 but a '63 Muncie (not sure if M20 or M21 yet). Case#3831704, Tailshaft 3831731, VIN stamp 3117374. If this transmission belongs to your '63 let me know. I'd like to see it in it's proper place while I go find the right trans for my '61.

65 870 engine S111800
I am about to rebuild and re-stamp this motor for my 65 to make a period correct engine but before I do I thought I would throw it out there to anyone that might have the original car or something closer to mine for trade. I have 194375S118438, which is Late May build and a D or E casting would be more likely. This one is B 1 5, F0226HH I don't want to sell it, trade only
