Teak Wheel
How much would it cost to get a Teak Wheel refinished. Do you recommend an original or reproduction wheel.

Re: Teak Wheel (timbuddy)
Repo teak steering wheels are almost $800 U.S. so having an original refinished would be a cheaper alternative. Don't know how bad it is really but just as a point of reference my MasterCraft boat ski platform is made of teak. It gets chewed up pretty bad in the summer. I just hit it with a little scotchbrite and wipe on some teakoil stain. Looks like new again. Been doing this since '94.

Re: Teak Wheel (timbuddy)
timbuddy...welcome to the forum, sometimes call the fountain of knowledge. Ask any question you like and one of the fine and crazy Corvette nuts on here will probably have the answer for you. Your question on the teak wheel, can't give a WAG, but call Gary at Gary's Steering Wheel Restoration in Carlisle, PA. 717-243-5646. I think he can get you in the ball park. Hope this helps!
