Wife was over in Tampa yesterday with the grand daughter when the SWC was delivered.
She just got home an hour ago and walked around the car 4 times and sat in it for about 10 minutes just looking around. She's in love with it and says its nicer than the '61 in her opinion. She said what I've thought all along, "How could you not buy this ?"
Then she said, "...when are we gonna christen it?".
I guess she saw my expression because I got "the look"....and she said, "I meant take it for a drive Romeo!"

That explains the red color.
Have fun with it.
The problem with collecting cars is you don't know which one to take to the car show, and then you end up enlisting your wife/girlfriend to take one car while you take another (hey maybe get your wife to take one,a nd your girlfriend to take another, and take all three) , but then YOU get to do all the cleaning and polishing on two cars at the show.

I missed this thread when it came out, and just wanted to pass along my congratulations to Frankie, as well as a heaping helping of the green monster ENVY!
