Default C1 watch repair

Hi all,
I'm trying to refurbish the watch, which is original to the car and dated feb 60, and I can't remove the setting button from its shaft in order to pull out the glass and face.
I made a search, (I promise), but found nothing
Any idea how to do this ?
Thanks, Claude

The **** unscrews off of the shaft.

Try some penetrating oil where the shaft goes into the ****. Hold the shaft with a pair of needle nose pliers and turn the ****. Depending how frozen they are you might need a pair of pliers on the **** and the shaft.

Yesss !
It worked, thanks !
Now I have to figure out why the spring keeps on escaping from its hole...and stops the clock.

Going through the same thing at the moment, how did you get the cover off the back?

Ah, I figures it out. Can you show me were the points are for cleaning?
