Default Cleaning aluminum intake manifold?

Got some staining on my aluminum intake manifold. What would be a good cleaner to remove the stains ?
Thanks.

I have used WD40 with some good results. Depends what the stain is, gas stains are about the hardest to remove. I would try some Mineral Spirits followed by soap and water. Normally I use a small sash tool to apply, with a dobbie pad to lightly, I said lightly rub out the stain.

I always use a soap and water to make sure no residue remains, and buff with soft cloth.... There are many other tricks, but this seems to work the best....

It's hard to find but there is actually a Naval Jelly for made specifically for Aluminum. It did a nice job on my manifold.

Aluminum wheel cleaner is another obvious choice - although I have not tried it.
