My bet is a professional car theft ring and both of these cars will end up overseas in someones collection.

Just sucks all around.
I wonder if you can inform Interpol about the theft? That way you could get the serial numbers spread to other countries. Too bad there's not an international data base for stolen auto IDs. I don't think Canada has that USA data and we're right next door!? ....I'll keep my eyes open up here.

there is a LOT of money in China. Does not surprise me. I feel for you looks like a great car. Hope for positive resolution. Having that 409 stolen as well points to professional guys with well funded operation. Bold as heck the way you say it went down. I had heard on this forum of a guy pulling up to a Corvette at a show with a rollback and starting to load it but the owner was nearby and intervened.

I think of that story too ... I seem to recall that the owner parked and was still sitting in the car a few minutes later waiting for someone. The tow truck pulled up and got to work until he noticed the owner, then kinda shrugged and drove away. Ba$tard.

Just think if you left your cell phone in the car you could trace it ,
I am thinking going with lo jack wonder how much it would cost a year to protect your corvrtte

Thanks Bud!!!

The Mod's made this a sticky!!! Thanks Guy's and Gals!!

The more it gets out there, the more opportunity it will be seen by somebody.

As it is now, there are definitely people out there that knows about this car and the circumstances surrounding the car.

All it takes is one little break.

In the meantime......I'm still keeping up hope!

What brand/ type wheels are on it?

Might keep an eye open for those wheels to show up for sale, somewhere.

Good luck with your search.

I can not imagine the anger and all the other emotions that you are going through.. I hope that you get your car back and the guy is put away for a long time.

I'll keep my eyes open over here on the East coast for you just in case your Corvette finds it's way here by some chance. Sorry for your loss, hopefully she'll be found soon.

Best wishes to the OP and good luck!!

Thanks again to all posting on the other websites! All if this effort definitely helps.

The front wheels are build by Team III out of the bay area.

I spoke with a reported yesterday. The Monterey Herald should have a new article on Monday.
