Two of the most intimidating front views of muscle cars on the planet!

Le Mans Master
That is 2 great looking cars
I was reading in a book about the Corvette C2 where they tested the Corvette against the Cobra back in 1964/65 and where they listed up the differences of the cars
One major factor hat that must make the Cobra more "track willing back in the days must be the tires.
Below is what they said about the tires on the Cobra and Corvette:
But back the comparing the "ultra low" Good Year G-8`s tires that was developed from Good Years stock and sports car racing the Cobra have as standard gives the Cobra fantastic traction compared to the wobbly and far less capable of resisting side-trust Firestone tires that the Corvette came with
I am thinking of how that test would have been if the Corvette have had the same "ultra low" tires as the Cobra had back then
Anyway it was fun reading

Safety Car
Thank goodness Caroll Shelby built those back in the day or I'd be stuck with a small block. I read Duntov really didn't want to put a rat motor in his masterpiece but Shelby forced his hand.

In the rear view, the Corvette has been moved forward quite a bit, thus looks much smaller than the Cobra which once again is much closer to the lens.

Wow you are right remember the reason they gave the big block on the circuit problems is due to it being lighter ,to start with. If I dident see them side by side I would think the same .
