The Mako Shark was RUINED when they put that C3 roof on the rear deck and renamed it Mantaray IMO. Bring back the fastback slats!

This was my first post in the C1/C2 section. I thought I would share some pictures of cars not often seen. However, I think it will be my last post in this section. That way I will not get people to show off their "better" sides. Hopefully some of the many NICE people with C1/C2 cars will join us when we have our get togethers in the Pacific Northwest. It would be great to see some of the earlier Vettes out on the road with us.

Surprised nobody posted a pic of the very last 1962 (VIN 14531).

I hope you keep coming back! Don't let anyone else dictate what you want to display or discuss here! There is a lot of great knowledge and information on this forum, but you do have to sometimes sift a bit for it!! Thanks again for a great photo thread!

Thanks for posting the Puyallup photos, I couldn't make it out there, but glad I had a chance to see the cars at ACM / LeMay.
Is the Puyallup thing an ongoing event?

This is the first year for "500 Corvettes". It was put on by the same person that has the Corvette and High Performance Swap Meet every year.
