Value of NOS 1962 Fenders
I would like to get the value of two NOS 1962 front fenders so I can list them in the Parts for Sale section. Any help would be appreciated.

A rule of thumb I use is 2 X the price of repop parts. The 2 X factor might be light in this case since the others come in several pieces. After a quick look, it looks like I'd ask $2,500 each.

Those are nice pieces. Someone will want them
I am glad one came included as a spare part (for replacement of a fender on the car) with my car when I bought it for $500.

OK, that makes sense.
So, in reality the market is limited to those people needing parts for repair, and not too worried about original appearance. I would say the value is less than the cost of a quality press molded repo part with the correct color fiberglass.

They are replacement parts and are not correct colors for originals. So technically while new old replacements, not original NOS. That is true for many if not most replacement parts out there. There are other problems with them too. The cuts in the panel, specifically the surround panel never was an original cut, so the seam created is not correct and is difficult to perform the repair without coming back to haunt you in later years. The surround panel was one piece on original cars. GM supplied these partials for repair purposes. That affects the value considerably. Its a good panel, but its not particularly valuable as an original.

In post #6 he did state they were GM replacement panels. As far a value, I was talking to a Corvette restoration shop owner and he thought $1300 per panel would be a fair price.

This is what eBay is for- stick an absurd reserve on them and see what happens. This is how dealers test the market for cars so they know what to set their "Buy It Now" price at. I've had NOS Kawasaki parts that I thought were worth a fortune that garnered bids of 10% what I guessed at, and shockers, like an NOS Kawasaki H1 clutch lever in an unopened factory wrapper that went for $250 with over 20 bidders in the last minute!!!
