58 Exhaust Tunnels
Completing rear quarter panel fitting on my May 28, 1958 build. Car did not have exhaust tunnels in trunk area so I purchased the fiberglass tunnels. While looking at my A.I.M. the drawing shows a "clip and screw" which attaches to rear top side of the tunnel and the trunk floor. Inspection of my trunk area reveals no signs of a screw hole nor did the new tunnels come with any type of clip.
It would appear that these fiberglass tunnels are just bonded front and back? I think that metal tunnels exist also and suspect they come with the "clip/bracket" attached. Just trying to figure out how to correctly attach these fiberglass tunnels.
