I need to install the Steeroids P/S on my 1960 Corvette. The stock steering effort would have been tolerable if I were 17. At 70, ain't no way! Has anyone installed it on their C1?
Also, to do this I need to put it on jack stands so I can have access under the car. Would it be advisable to use 2 jacks each under the the lower control arms and place the jack stands under the frame?
I would like to jack it up at the cross member but I read it would bend it. Any suggestions?

I jack from the side under the frame. Power steering is great!

Jack, thanks for the reply. How difficult was the removal of the steering column and the installation of the rest of the components?
