E-Brake cable connection
My 66 has the e- brake cable running through the cross member. On the rear side there is a welded clip to the crossmeber where a bolt goes through and a nut attached to capture the outer portion of the cable. My question is what portion of the cable goes up into this clip? Is the very end of the outer casing or is the outer shell with the wire wrapped around ?

Does your car have all the parts for the e-brake at the crossmember?

Yes, all parts are installed correctly as shown. Need to know what portion of the cable actually fits into the welded clip. The cable fits into clip with bolt under it I beleive, but not sure if the very end of outer casing or the outer casing portion that looks like a spring wrapped around.
