I hate to be the one who mentions this but how about main/rod bearings?

I know its dangerous, but I was googling the symptoms and saw one person say they had broken a main cap, allowing the engine to run but exhibit this behavior at RPM under load. I would have thought it would sound pretty catastrophic if this was the case... but I might be wrong.

327's have been known to crack across the main bearing webs but I don't think this would cause your oil pressure to drop.

A broken main cap could and loose main bearings could too as previously mentioned.

If you end up pulling the pan you can pressurize your system with the pan off using an oil pig. Basically a small tank that holds 5 qts of oil, hook the oil pig up to the engine at the oil pressure line fitting or any other source by the oil filter. Pressurize the pig to 60 PSI and watch where the spill comes from. The 5 qts will drain pretty quick so be ready to search as soon as you hook up the pig. Hard to find internal oil leaks show up quickly this way without running the engine. These pigs were originally designed to pre fill engines prior to start up. I think the official name is Engine Pre Lubricator.
