Default Strange Car Documentation

I inquired about a '66 Corvette that looked very promising in the description and photos and bonus info was that car included original Protect-O-Plate and owner records. I asked for photos of the plate and seller sent them. Protect-O-Plate decodes to 1966 Nova 4-door with 6 cylinder Powerglide. Aaarrrgh

Anybody need a Nova Protect-O-Plate?

Could be some owner innocently mixed them up 40 years ago, but the damage is done.

What Damage? Just because someone got a protector plate to go in the glove box has not damaged the car. The car itself stands on its on as presented. Most cars dont have their protector plates. It was common years ago to put a protector plate in the bag for show. No one ever check it.
