They did mine and the water pump over 12 years ago.
I don't know about the correct tag as mine still had the original.
You can call and ask.

Don Briggs in Lighthouse Point, Fl or John Pirkle in Augusta, Ga should be able to do the job.

Your local old timer shop can do it. The tags are available at CC. I had one done at a local shop for $65. Charges just fine.

Depends on what you want. If you are looking for a functional rebuild, then you can find a local electrical shop that can do the job very inexpensively.
If you want an NCRS correct restoration as well as an OEM functional rebuild then the only one I can recommend that I have personal experience with is John Pirkle Jr. Absolutely top notch.

The guy that rebuilt my '61 starter here in Orlando said they don't see many generators anymore but he'll rebuild mine if needed. I bet most such shops still have the skills.
However, these guys might not have a clue where the red tag should be mounted or even care to do it.

You can order one of those red tags online stamped with whatever you want and cut off the stems of the two rivets and JB Weld the assembled tag to the proper spot on the generator and save yourself some drilling and a chance to screw something up. On a non-judged car nobody will know the difference.

whatever you do, don't lose the pulley! It took me 30 years to figure out mine had been swapped, and a chance visit to the now closed repair shop revealed the right size pulley, perhaps even my own.
