Default Roger's Corvette L-88

I heard last night from a knowledgeable source that Roger sold his red L-88! http://www.rogerscorvette.com/inv/sp...7L88/index.htm

I find that hard to believe - can anybody confirm ?

The empty block may have been mine as I sold one for 7K ......around the period described in the article.....Bare L88 'IT' suffix blocks were not available and I had one we took apart from one of my drag boats...The purchaser spent a full day examining it for authenticity....He showed me pictures of the Red 67 coupe it was to be used in and said its his retirement piece....Over the counter engines did not have vin numbers.....

those became my favorite engines after my Hemis

It is true, the car was sold several months ago. It is in a private collection in the midwest.

One of the most significant collectible Corvette's in existence. New owner is a credit to the hobby.
