Thanks David. I was trying to find the time to look it up. Tony was the 2nd owner of the 1962 Grady Davis Dr. Dick Thompson Sebring car that won many races over the years. And I think B. Brown was Bobby Brown from the Boston area. Both were very active racers, and may still be

Grand Sport
Back in the days when Bloomington was a full featured show. They had a swap meet, car corral, show, auction, and autocross. It was all things for all Corvette owners. Restored, stock, and custom were all there.
Motel 6 - I think this may have been our last year there, I can't remember. we got up on Sunday and found we couldn't renew for next year. There was a bunch of furniture in the pool - couch, tables, chairs, and not the outdoor patio type. I think there might have been a mattress.
My Suburban towing a friend's '69 435 hp coupe. We weren't there for the show with it, but the autocross.
i think there is a Popeye's where you see the cars autocrossing now. Lowe's sits where the show was.

Safety Car
That's GS-001 when JIM PERVIS owned it He painted it red. Today it is back to original blue as raced at SEBRING in 1966 with DICK GULDSTRAND and DR. DICK THOMPSON at the controls. The car had the new 427/ L-88 engine for power. It was a beast. Thompson was forced off track and destroyed the oil pan, so the car was a DNF.
In 1993 and 94 DOUG HOOPER restored and drove the car for owner Gene Schivione at five tracks across America so everyone could enjoy what a real GRAND SPORT was designed to do…..race. This photo of DOUG was taken in 2009 when he and I had the privilege to see the car at Harry Yeaggy's garage. The last photo is with the original 377 inch engine and cross ram webber carbs. We lost Doug last October 3. 2013.
