Default Houston - mechanic recommendation

Does anyone know a good mechanic in central Houston area. I have 1967 427/435 and am having some trouble keeping it running well. May need to have someone work on the carbs or something.

Thanks in advance.

Check out Muscle Cars of Texas.

I do work for them on occasion and they seem to have a decent reputation. Vinny, I believe, used to only restore Corvettes.

They are down off of Washington and I-10...

Depending on where you live, you might also consider Corvette Doctor at 1330 Sherwood Forest (on the I-10 W feeder a few blocks west of BW8). Charles Cummings is the owner. Have done business with him for more than 20 years.

This ain't exactly a puny lil town....lol

Pugly, I'll see ya out on Hwy 59 sometime!!

Lee Martin Automotive. It's on the NW side off of 529 & jackrabbit. My dad had been going there for 30+ years & the guy is honest.

If you just want the carbs done I can tell you where to send them. A guy in Beaumont that I used for my center carb can really make them run good.
