My 1961 Fuelie
My 1961 fuelie arrived today and was greeted by a 62.
I have been looking for a car like this for a long time .
And a big thanks to Paul (capevettes) "the Wayne Carini of cape Cod"
He found this car for me.
We started looking at it a bout a month back and i when through the process of getting a great person to go look at it.
Well it arrived today and it has exceeded my expectations
Here are some pictures will post more details later.
It is an original #s matching fuelie. 283 /315 HP
411 Posi Honduras maroon
There are a few things i need to correct but not much.
Gas cap, jack, whees paint to match.
The frame is as clean as it gets where it was a west coast car.
Going to get it up on the lift tommorw.

Bill, You've got yourself an absolutely beautiful fuelie This car definitely exceeded my expectations. It was a great day and I was glad to be a part of it all. Nice to have Rick's 62 on hand. That was the 340 horse 62 we found for him last year in upstate NY.
Thanks to Don Hooper (HI hp 65) for his help in arranging the inspection out in Nevada.
Merry Christmas Bill Hope it doesn't get too cold out in the garage tonight

In my book - owning a '61 fuelie is as good as it gets.
Congrats. It's a beauty.
