C2 of the Year Finalist - Modified 2020
C2 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019
Just turned 65. My first was a 67 in 1979. I currently have two (1966 L79 roadster and a 2007 Z06). I love both of them. The 66 made it through a rain storm this morning to attend a Toys For Tots Car Show in Portsmouth, VA. Won a Top 20 Award with app. 150 cars.

Turn 60 in April and recognize there are more days -- and cars -- behind me than ahead. But completing my 59 still lies ahead. Odd, that T-10 weighs a hell of a lot more than it did when I pulled one out of my 60 vette back in '73. Must be metal is heavier when it's older...couldn't be me.

Good for you! I bought my first Vette (a '59) in '77 when I was 24. Traded it two years later for a '63 SWC.
Back then the Corvette reproduction parts business (like Corvette Central or Corvette America) was in its infancy, and parts were sourced from GM parts counters or the scrap yard.

Well I'm 55, but that ain't my speed limit!!
I've had my 64 Roadster 2 yrs now, and hope to drive it till I'm in my 80's.

Bought my one and only Corvette at the age of 40, sight unseen. Was born 3 months before Pearl Harbor...taking one day at a time. Am 71 years young, and looking forward to some long drives with my recently installed Keisler 5 speed.
As my Dad told me, "a man needs a vice or a hobby...one man's vice is another man's hobby." Looks like all of us have that vice/hobby here! Keep on keeping on!!
I feel I'm in an elite 70 & over club here and my idol is roccog whose 80!!
When it's all said in done, these are just #s and it's your passion for these cars that "hooks" you.

My 67 and I were both born in St. Louis in 1966! It is my first & only vette and have had it for 7 years now after looking & learning for 10. Many thanks to all here on CF (but also @ NCRS)
This is interesting to me in that there are definitely not many people my age with midyears around my area.
